Here I am, sitting down writing my very first ‘real’ blog post. Even though I have routinely written in a personal journal for years, I have to admit that writing for the public intimidates me a bit. It also excites me. I guess you could say I have the world wide web version of stage fright – ‘butterflies’ if you will.
So, why do it? Why step out onto center stage? The thought of being able to reach an audience of like-minded people who may benefit from something I post, well, that’s just awesome. That’s my why. An added bonus of a blog is the creation of a time capsule of sorts for my family. To be able to look back at photos and real life commentary and remember the moments of days gone by. Moments such as those pictured below when my sweet, nature loving son (I) found a butterfly with an injured wing and was determined to keep it safe until it could gain a little more strength.
Today my son and I both have butterflies and our blog will help us remember this moment in time.
